Our Prices

Translation is charged at the following rates:
  • General Texts: CHF 0.20 / 0.13 per word.
  • Technical Texts (Business, Science, Computing etc): CHF 0.30 / 0.20 per word.
  • A discount of 10% is applicable to any text greater that 5 pages in length.
  • There is a surchage of 20% for translations required within two days. This includes weekends and public holidays.
Payment is by cheque, direct bank transfer or PayPal, at least 30 days after the translation has been completed and returned to the client. It is understood that clients outside Switzerland will bear the cost of possible bank charges.

The system of renumeration used by STS is a deliberately simple one. The table below gives an idea of how our charges would apply to various types of translation:
